What is SLT?

SLT – Speech and Language Therapy – provides treatment, support and care for young people who have difficulties with communication. The focus is on using different techniques to improve communication and work on any speech disorders that are present. There are a range of speech and language issues that can occur and be dealt with.

We firmly believe that young people should be supported to overcome any barriers in their way. Communication is vitally important to both emotional wellbeing and academic progress. Speech and Language Therapy can provide young people with the skills to succeed in the world, and also ensure that they can express themselves with confidence.

SLT Sessions

Our sessions support young people who are having difficulty with communication. We provide assessment and therapy to support young people with those needs. Our mission is to provide engaging therapy so that each individual we work with can reach their true potential. The first session will act as an initial consultation to plan the approach.

The sessions take place remotely which allows young people to be comfortable in their own environment. The time between each session provides an opportunity to practise the changes discussed. It is a collaborative process between therapist and individual. Moreover, it is a chance for development without the long waiting list.

The cost per session is £45 (sessions last for 30 minutes).

*Please note that due to the nature of SLT, the session lengths may vary upon agreement with the therapist.
